It's been 3 years and I finally figured out the highchair tray has a clip to connect to the main frame when not in use. For years, I have been frustrated with where to keep the tray when I'm not using it. I don't like to leave it on the seat of the highchair because Grace is getting too big to hold in one hand while removing the tray. So, I have been keeping it in a basket nearby, adding more clutter to a busy room.
